Key Requirement for the Position
Candidates with minimum 15 years of experience
B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical (Mandatory) & MBA / Diploma Desirable in SCM / Material Management / Purchase

Job Description

• Responsible for end-to-end Procurement process of Capex Assets for Projects and Critical Engineering items for various plants across PAN India.
• Build effective procurement strategies and processes.
• Manage execution of processes, standards and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy including negotiation strategy, cost accountability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in order to facilitate the sourcing process.
• Design and direct processes for effective vendor selection and management with a view to minimize purchasing costs without compromising quality or reliability of supply.
• Monitor and coordinate with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems.
• Analyze and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to help determine need for changes.
• Work closely with Operations, Site Engineering and Projects teams to establish purchasing specifications and to match equipment and services to requirement.
• Review Purchase orders and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Analyse market and delivery conditions to determine present and future equipment availability and prepare market analysis reports to enable business to improve decision making.
• Ensure competitive costs and budgeted savings are realized through negotiations, new source development and rate / contracts agreement.
• While ensuring compete source to pay process, you ensure that internal and external compliance requirements are met, procedures are documented and all process steps are handled efficiently
